Second Biennial Photo Competition – Celebrating the Women & Girls of Bathurst.
Central West Women’s Health Centre is once again looking for photos of local women & girls*, taken by local women & girls*.
Due to the need for everyone to remain at home as much as possible at this time, the Centre would love photos of local women & girls, taken by local women & girls, that celebrate the supportive and admirable women around us, as well as celebrating our own resilience.
Entries may be of a woman/girl in your household that you admire, a group image of the women & girls that you are sharing this difficult time with or a selfie/portrait demonstrating and celebrating your own resilience.
We encourage any local who identifies as female to enter this competition. Have fun with it, be creative and most of all celebrate the women in your life,
Entries will be judged by an online public vote and the winners will become part of a permanent display in the Centre as well as being included in the
“Celebrating Women & Girls of Bathurst 2020” photo book.
Categories for Entries
Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islanders,
Women from a Migrant or Refugee background,
Young women (under 18’s),
Wise Women (over 60’s),
Women with disabilities,
Open (for photos that don’t fit a specific category or could fit multiple categories.)
The competition opens on Monday 4th May 2020 and entries close Sunday 31st May 2020 (midnight)
Entry into this competition is free & open to Bathurst women & girls* of all ages.
