Central West Women’s Health Centre Inc. was incorporated on 29 October 1986.

This October, we are celebrating 40 years of providing services to women, children and young people in Bathurst and surrounds. We have a wonderful program of events planned and cannot wait to celebrate with the entire community. 

Gala Dinner - 29th of October 2026

Join us for a very special evening as we celebrate 40 years of Central West Women’s Health Centre supporting women, children and young people across our region. This formal fundraising dinner honours four decades of care, advocacy and community connection and helps ensure that legacy continues for years to come.

We are honoured to welcome renowned human rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson as our keynote speaker, bringing a powerful national perspective to our local story.

Open Day - 27th of October 2026

We are throwing open our doors for a relaxed, community-style open day. Everyone is welcome, especially anyone who has played a part in planning and establishing our Centre over the years. Come and see how far we have come, meet our team and enjoy wellbeing activities together as we mark 40 years of service.

40 for 40 - Fundraiser

From 1 October to 1 November, we’re asking Bathurst and the Central West to choose their own 40 — 40 minutes, 40 reps, 40 laps, genuinely whatever suits you — and raise funds for Central West Women’s Health Centre along the way. Rally your workplace, your gym or your mates and sign up as a team, or go it alone. However you do your 40, every dollar helps support local women and children.
